Short policy, simple promise: we collect only what you provide us. Lanza Labs runs no advertising trackers, no analytics, and no cookies. This policy explains the limited information we do handle and how we treat it. We use it only to do our work, and never sell it.
This Privacy Policy describes how Lanza Labs LLC ("Lanza Labs," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our website at lanzalabs.com and our work placing technical talent. By using our website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.
01What we collect
We collect only what you give us. We do not track you, profile you, or buy information about you.
- What you send us. When you book a call or email us, we receive what you provide. The scheduling form asks for your name, email, company, and the role you are hiring for. If you email or call, we receive whatever is in your message.
- Client details. During an engagement, we receive the requirements for the roles you are hiring for.
- Candidate details. When sourcing for a role, we handle candidate information such as names, contact details, work history, resumes, and references. More on this below.
02The services involved
A few trusted services help us operate. Each handles information under its own privacy terms:
- Scheduling (Calendly). Our "Book a call" links open Calendly. What you enter there is handled by Calendly under its own privacy policy and synced to our calendar. We use no other Calendly integrations.
- Email, calendar, and phone (Google). Messages, calls, and texts to our published contacts are handled through Google Workspace and Google Voice.
- Fonts (Google Fonts). Our site loads typefaces from Google, so Google may receive your device's IP address to deliver them. This is the only automatic data exchange the site performs, and we do not use it to track you.
03How we use it
We use the information above only to respond to you, schedule and hold our conversation, provide our services and match candidates to roles, and meet our legal and record-keeping obligations. We never use it for advertising, and we make no automated decisions about you.
04Candidate information
Our site is aimed at hiring managers, but our work involves candidate information. When we evaluate or present a candidate, we use their information only to assess fit for a role and to share relevant details with the prospective employer. We keep no public candidate database and accept no applications through this site. If you are a candidate and want to know what we hold or have it removed, just contact us.
05How we share it, and how we protect it
We never sell your information or share it with advertisers or data brokers. We share it only to do the work (client and candidate details move between the parties to a search as needed to make a placement), with the service providers named above who handle it on our behalf, and where the law requires it. We keep information only as long as we need it, then delete it, and we take reasonable measures to protect it. No system is perfectly secure, but our site runs over HTTPS.
06Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, just contact us and we will respond as the law requires. We will not treat you differently for asking.
If you are in the EU, UK, or EEA. Where we decide how your personal data is used, we act as a controller, on the lawful bases of contract, consent, or our legitimate interest in running our practice. You may have additional rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. We are based in the United States, and information you provide is processed there.
07Contact, and changes
For any privacy question, or to exercise a right above, email us at admin@lanzalabs.com. We read and respond to requests sent there. For general inquiries, write to hello@lanzalabs.com. If we update this policy, we will revise the effective date at the top and reflect any material change on this page.
